1. Purpose of the service

PositionIA is a free tool for analyzing the AI positioning (Generative Engine Optimization) of a website. The user enters the URL of a site, and the tool returns a score out of 100 along with technical recommendations for improvement. The results are indicative and do not constitute personalized professional advice.

2. Access to the service

  • Access is free, open, and without registration.
  • A limit of 5 analyses per 24 hours per IP address is enforced to preserve the infrastructure and guarantee access for everyone.
  • No paid features are offered to date. ALGOR-IT reserves the possibility of adding a premium offering later; if this happens, these terms will be updated.

3. Intellectual property

The source code of the tool, the PositionIA trademark, the logo, the editorial content of the site, and the recommendation phrases generated by the algorithm are the exclusive property of ALGOR-IT. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

However, the code snippets generated for you to fix issues detected on your own site are free to use and may be copied, pasted, and adapted without restriction.

4. Limitation of liability

  • The scores and recommendations produced by PositionIA are indicative and rely on public heuristics. They do not guarantee that your site will actually be cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, or any other generative engine.
  • ALGOR-IT cannot be held liable for strategic decisions made solely on the basis of the results provided by the tool.
  • The service is provided "as is", without any guarantee of availability or SLA.
  • ALGOR-IT disclaims all liability for indirect damages (loss of revenue, loss of search ranking, harm to image) resulting from the use of the service.

5. Prohibited uses

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Automated scraping of the API or circumvention of the rate limit (5 analyses/day) by any technical means.
  • Use of the tool to harm third parties (mass analysis of competitor sites for misleading publication, disparagement, etc.).
  • The resale or commercialization of results produced by the tool without prior written agreement from ALGOR-IT.
  • Any attempt to compromise the infrastructure (injection, fuzzing, denial of service, etc.).

In the event of a violation, access to the service may be blocked without notice and legal proceedings may be initiated.

6. Availability

ALGOR-IT uses reasonable means to ensure the availability of the service, but does not guarantee any uptime rate or recovery time in the event of an incident. Maintenance operations may cause temporary interruptions.

7. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their performance or interpretation falls under the jurisdiction of the Tribunal compétent du siège social (France).

8. User accounts

  • Use of the service is free and possible without an account.
  • Creating an account allows you to retrieve your analyses, track your score over time, and choose to be informed of our tips.
  • The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their password.
  • The standard rate limit is 5 analyses per day. When logged in, this quota is per user account; when anonymous, per IP address.
  • The user can delete their account at any time via /settings. Associated analyses will be anonymized within 30 days.
  • ALGOR-IT reserves the right to suspend or delete an account that violates these terms (in particular abusive use via scripts, security breach, illegal content submitted for analysis).

9. Changes to the terms

ALGOR-IT reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The date of last update appears at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after publication of the changes constitutes acceptance.
